Haunted Expeditions Wales TV début September 06Our TV debut was filmed by ITV Wales Ghost Story, along with presenter John Sparkes at Ruthin Gaol, North Wales.Mark and Michelle were joined by members of the HEW team, when filming took place in the summer at the gaol and went out on air September 06. Haunted Expeditions Wales all enjoyed working with the ITV Wales crew, it was an eye opening first experience for us all. We introduced John to the equipment we use and set off to do a vigil in the Governors office. Great results were achieved, which lead to John walking off in bewilderment at what had taken place. The HEW team received excellent reviews from family, friends and strangers alike. Michelle said What made it more worth while for us, we came away with the knowledge that John Sparkes who, at the beginning of the evening was an open minded sceptic, is now a believer after working with us for one night only. Most Haunted Living TV, January 07Mark and Michelle were both privileged to be asked to take part in the filming of two locations on Anglesey as guest mediums in October 06 with Most Haunted. The first location was to be Beaumaris Gaol, Anglesey. Michelle was asked to take part in the filming at this location. Michelle said It was a fantastic experience working along side the most well known faces in the world of paranormal investigation. It was lovely to meet all the team, but the highlight for me, was sitting chatting to Ciaran O`Keeffe Parapsychologist. Three of the Most Haunted team joining me on a vigil which took place in and around the Laundry work room.. We had wonderful results with all three of the MH team being touched by a spirit woman who I made contact with. Wigan (Ian Cash) was stroked on his stomach, and when I asked if the spirit could do this again, but on his back she obliged, to the utter shock of Wigan. Its a night I will never forget. The second location was at South Stack Lighthouse, Holy Head Mark was invited to take part in the filming at this location. This was a site that the HEW team had never investigated before. Mark said This is a setting that I will never forget, We felt privileged to be on an Island at a working lighthouse in the dead of night, and to top it off with the crew of Most Haunted, fantastic! It was a strange experience for me, as I had dreamt two nights before about a murder at the lighthouse of a young man, who had been bashed around the head.? When we arrived I could see the scenario of the event as we approached the outer buildings. It was quite bizarre. There is nothing documented to say that this murder took place, but the researchers from MH told us that a young man had died in that very same area, with injuries to his head. It was thought that he had fallen and had sustained the injuries this way. The truth may never been known? The filming at this location was almost called off, due to gale force winds. Michelle said It was a battle climbing down the 400 steps between the steep granite cliffs, with a gale force wind blowing in your face. Then we had to cross the steel framed bridge which spans the thirty metres between the mainland and the rocky stack on which the lighthouse is situated, but it was worth the effort. |
